Getting your ex back could be a long haul! But you will have to ask yourself ONE question first. Do you REALLY Want your Ex Back ??

You will have to sit down and ask yourself some pretty tough questions and you are going to need pen and paper! Now that you have had time to think about the good things and the bad things in the relationship, you are becoming more objective in your outlook. You have got rid of all those irrational and emotional thoughts about how you will die ( not live !) without your ex. Enough time has passed to let you think more clearly and rationally.

Was the decision to break up done in a moment of anger ? Very often, things come to a head over just ONE issue and that does not take into account the whole relationship.Sometimes though this is the last straw that broke the camel's back, So,you have to look at it overall and think of it as an experience which spans a lot of time and incidents (not to mention accidents !).

Overall, how did you get on ? Were there lots of happy moments or did you argue a lot ? Maybe on the whole it was really quite good.

Maybe it was fabulous or just fairly low key ? You should not judge a whole relationship just because of one or two bad moments or incidents. Needless to say, we all have our highs and lows - that is true for 99% of relationships. How many couples do you know that NEVER have an argument or quarrel or always see eye to eye? Very few, I bet. A friend of mine commented on a relationship where the girl never contradicted or even disagreed with her boyfriend. It couldn't last like that And it didn't !

Now if, having answered the above questions and you are full of bitterness, bad memories, vibes and quarreling which are dominating your thoughts, then you are probably right NOT to get your ex back.

Try to be objective. Was your ex really so bad or really so great ? It is not going to be a black and white answer either, unfortunately. It does NOT boil down to love or hate. Love and hate are not so so far apart. They are not opposites either. There is quite a thin line separating love and hate. It is when there is indifference involved that there may be a point of no return. If you cannot work up enough emotion to feel either love or hate, then the relationship is a dead duck. Indifference is a killer !
